About the Artist
Davis & Associates chose Keith Rutherford’s work to feature on their website because of Keith’s use of colour, his unique perspective and his focus on the Australian landscape.

Keith has exhibited in various Sydney galleries, including 72 Erskine St, Soho Galleries, Global Galleries Wollongong, Gallery Equinox, De Havilland Gallery and Project Contemporary ArtSpace.
In 2002, he was selected as Feature Artist at the New England Regional Art Museum, Armidale. In 2003, he was appointed as Judge of the Thirroul Seaside & Arts Festival, and in 2006, he received the "Artist of the North" Award at the Thirroul Seaside & Arts Festival.
Keith grew up in Sydney, completing his Degree in Fine Arts at Alexander Mackie College in 1978.
In 1996, Keith began tutoring Art at Campbelltown City Art Gallery; he has taught "Art of Drawing" and "Abstract Painting" at the Gallery for the past 10 years. He has also taught therapeutic art for adults with disabilities for the past 15 years.
Keith moved to the Northern Suburbs of Wollongong in 1997; he currently teaches "Life Drawing" and "Abstract Oils" at WEA, Wollongong.
